Our oil
Our olive grove covers 3 hectares with 500 olive trees.
The olives are hand-picked by the farm and processed within 24/48 hours at low temperatures, so that its organoleptic and healthy characteristics are preserved as much as possible.
Our animal friends
At the Agriturismo Podere Montese you will find many animals ready to be stroked and pampered.
A true agritourism with a farm, as few can truly claim to be, where love and care for animals, and their well-being, constitute the very essence of Podere Montese On the farm there is no shortage of small farmyard animals, such as chickens, laying hens and ducks, which, when they are not in their nice little house, can enjoy a large portion of land to scratch about in total freedom.
In addition to domestic animals, however, you can also spot a large number of wild animals such as fawns, boars, foxes, badgers and porcupines. Take one of our forest trails and go in search of their footprints!

A new discovery: Bees
Our passion for bees began during the lockdown period, starting as a game, cultivating a novelty, but as the days went by, the scents and noise of those fascinating insects were an attraction that, despite the tests of initial courage, over time it has borne fruit and a lot of satisfaction, making us so passionate that we decided to plan a different future by making it a real profession.

Within our farm we will manage around 30 beehives, following the best blooms and in our honey factory we extract honey directly from the virgin wax honeycombs with the ancient honey extraction method.
Our honey does not undergo any conservation treatment, thus maintaining the characteristics of authenticity and purity typical of country foods unaltered.
